Mechanical ventilation and duct cleaning in Amsterdam

Cleaning of mechanical ventilation units, air valves and ventilation ducts to keep your ventilation system working properly.

Over years of use, dust and grease build up in the unit, air valves and ducts. This can reduce the amount of air the system extracts.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about mechanical ventilation and duct cleaning

We recommend annual cleaning and maintenance of your mechanical ventilation unit or heat recovery ventilation unit. We recommend thorough duct cleaning about every 5 years on average. The frequency required depends on use, dirt build-up and conditions in the home. MVHR filters should be checked and replaced in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions; this may be needed more often than a full duct clean. Visible dirt, reduced airflow or persistent noise may mean maintenance is needed sooner.
